I don't get it!

Downtown Kalamazoo that is! Who in the world designed this insane city anyway? Seriously...I grew up here...this I realize, but if you asked me to go downtown...I'd probably look at you with horror!
On Saturday I went downtown thinking this will be a piece of cake. I am going to the same shoe store I always buy my running shoes from I can handle this. Seriously one would think so! Uh no! I got lost! :( I really wouldn't have I promise if the parking garage that I normally park in would have been standing still and every other building around it wouldn't have been under construction! So after I figured out where I was...I found half of a standing parking garage...literally...half of it still standing and half torn down! I'm thinking most sane people would probably keep driving and not park in it...but not me...I parked in it! I finally found a spot on the third floor...see other crazy people parked in there too! At any rate...you know those suspense type movies of murderers chasing people in parking garages and such...well seriously that is how I felt walking around in this parking garage. I had no idea where I was supposed to go and had absolutely no clue how to get out of it to get to my store! I was however determined that I was going to get to the shoe store! It took me about 15 minutes to figure out how to get out of the silly parking garage...but finally I did! I felt relieved thinking it's all down hill from here...yeah right!!! I made my way to the Kalamazoo mall...really just a street with stores. And what do you know...it's been a year since I've been there and I forgot where the store was:( It all looked different to me!! On one side of the street half the building was gone and on the other side all the stores looked closed! I was lost:( So I decided to turn left and start walking...I seriously couldn't stand in the middle of downtown Kalamazoo with all the other crazy people! I was feeling slightly discouraged when all the sudden I looked up and saw my store!!! Just where I left it last year!!!
So people that is it...just another crazy day in the life of Jennifer! I needed to make myself laugh a little today and since I needed it...I thought maybe someone else does too! Remember...have faith, have hope, and always love! These are the things that God is reminding me of everyday!
