Christmas!!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!! I thought I would share some pictures from our Christmas at the Slater house and some pictures from the most recent ski trip:) I do have one prayer request, please pray for my Aunt Suzi. She has been battling cancer for the past few years and is coming to the end of her fight. Please pray for comfort and peace for her, her daughters, and for the rest of the family. We would sure appreciate it!

So last Thursday my dad, Jonathan, and I decided to make the long trek up to the UP of
Michigan to go skiing!! We drove up to Indianhead Mountain and finally found quite a bit of snow!! We skied all day on Friday and had a really great time!

This is the Winnebago Headwall. I promise it is actually a lot steeper than what the picture makes it look like! It was a double black diamond that I thought would be ok to go down since Jonathan went down;) I started down and tumbled in the first two seconds and left about half my equipment at the top and rolled a good way down the hill. To make a long story short, I had to climb back up about half this hill to get my stuff! After I had all my stuff I put it all back on, and I did manage to ski the hill:)

It was a great trip and good skiing and a great Christmas!! I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas:) And a wonderful New Year:)
