Home Sweet Home:)

It is so good to be home!! :) I got in last night around 10:00pm...very long day of flying, but well worth it when you walk in the door of your home and see your very own bed! It was funny when I was flying from Detroit to Kalamazoo though, I met a lady on the flight and we started laughing so hard because we both were coming home from business trips and were both mentally exhausted...and we realized that that since we were both out west... 2 hours behind Michigan time...we had missed dinner time:( We were starving and for some reason we seriously couldn't stop laughing at this! Maybe it was the extreme hunger! Isn't it interesting when you travel the type of people you meet? The type of people that God puts in your path? I know at that moment during that flight I was emotionally and physically exhausted from my week and I met this lady and we had a good gut laugh!! We even laughed when the plane slipped on the landing...yes that's right...the runway was icey and our plane did a fishtail landing...it was great! I should back up a bit and give you a slight glimpse of my week! It was interesting to say the least! Half the day we spent listening to speakers and what not. The other half of the day we spent presenting our own crap...boy don't I love public speaking! Actually...it isn't that bad! It is just really hard to do when you know people are critiquing you! It was good though and I did well...so really it just built my confidence...which I needed in all honesty! Oh so funny story...we all had to share a hotel room with someone...some people knew their roomates and others like myself had to room with a complete stranger! This was VERY interesting to say the least! I would love to tell you it was wonderful...but it sucked! She was old...and NO fun! I hooked up with people my own age though and we had a blast! We of course behaved ourselves;) We had a ton of fun though in the evenings... as much as we could of course! We didn't have cars at our disposal...so we had to sweet talk the hotel shuttle guy to take us places...a little girl charm works everytime...just give a big smile and pretty much girls your in! We tipped him well...so we did take care of him...no worries! All I have to say on the Mill and 8th Street!! :) We went to The Library....this is at Arizona State...some great times spent...ASU is a great place and Mill street is awesome! O.k. this is getting quite long...so I will end this by saying...again...it is soooo good to be home!! I can again eat good food! The food there was horrible...of course you all know I am the pickiest eater!!! Alright...gotta run...My phone is back on again!! They made us turn them off out there:(...we could have them on in the evenings after our sessions...but by that time it was dinner time with the group and by the time that was over it was very late for all of you!! Love to you all....Jen
